Disadvantages of the conventional method of water proofing
1) It adds considerable weight to the ceiling resulting in higher cement and steel costs to take care of the additional load
2) There is no guarantee to the effectiveness of water proofing

4) Conventional water proofing has no insulation value. Because of that it is very uncomfortable in areas below directly exposed ceiling due to the high ambient temperature

Insultec coatings give excellent solar heat insulation and water proofing to the substrates- can be applied on all type of surfaces –Rcc, GI, Poly coated metal sheets, Asbestos sheets
Insultec is a water based co polymer compound containing inert pigments and special fillers. Through out the day the sun exposed roof is heated by infra red and ultra red rays from sun. This heat gets conducted inside the room as the day progresses.Insultec reradiate 95%of solar infra red rays and 85% of ultra violet rays back to the atmosphere
All the cement concrete structures which are exposed to atmosphere for a long time have a tendency to carbonation. This makes concrete porous and steel bars getting corroded over a period of time Insultec coating protects concrete against carbonation for more than 10 years. It increases the life of the structure.
Insultec coatings give protection against water absorption, chloride ion penetration from salty atmosphere, carbon dioxide diffusion and chloride ion diffusion to the cement concrete surface
Insultec application is very easy and normal painter can apply this coating as per the specification
SPECIFICATIONS FOR APPLYING INSULTEC ON DIFFERENT SURFACES FOR EFFECTIVE WATERPROOFING AND INSULATION EFFECT- WE GUARANTEE A MINIMUM DROP OF 6* F TEMPERATURE BELOW THE COATED ROOF WHEN COMPARED TO UNCOATED ROOF IN ADDITION TO COMPLETE WATER LEAKAGE PROTECTION
1) FOR RCC AND CEMENTITIOUS SURFACES /ASBESTOS SHEETS
a) Clean the surface with water to remove existing dirt and algae
b) Apply coat of Multi Proof Acrylic polymer as primer
c) Apply 2 coats of insultec with 10% water dilution. Keep at least 4hrs interval between two coats
Coverage – I kg of insultec will cover 35 sq ft and primer – 85 sq ft
RATE – RS 40 / SQ FT
2) FOR POLY COATED SHEET
a) Clean the surface with water to remove existing dirt
b) Apply a coat of epoxy polymer as primer
c) Apply 3 coats of insultec with min 4 hrs interval between each coat
Coverage – 1 kg of Insultec will cover 25 sq ft
Rate – RS 30/sq ft
3) WATER PROOFING FOR WATER TANKS
a) Apply C.T epoxy virgin solvent free anti corrosive base coat Impregnated with 110 GSM Glass cloth
b) Apply one more coat of epoxy resin with glass cloth
c) Apply 2 coats of CT epoxy making a joint less liming
Rate – Rs 140 / sq ft
Taxes – extra as applicable
Payment terms – 50% advance with order and balance against prorate running bills
