Day 1: Jammu

On arrival at Jammu railway station you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Jammu.

Day 2: Jammu/Srinagar
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In the morning, our representative will transfer you to Jammu bus station. From here it is a 7/8-hour drive to Srinagar where you will be met by our representative and transferred to a deluxe houseboat. The rest of the day is spent resting or exploring the city on your own. Dinner and overnight stay on a houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar Local sightseeing (50 Kms)

|
|
|
|
The half day tour of the world famous Mughal Gardens includes Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to your houseboat for a hot lunch. Afternoon: A romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake is an experience that you will never forget. Overnight on a houseboat in Srinagar. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 4: Srinagar/Gulmarg/Srinagar (112 Kms)

|
Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. Play a round of golf on the highest golf course (in summer) in the world or ski down its slopes (in winter) or just lie back and absorb the splendors of nature and the snowy mountains. You may also want to go on a Gondola ride (cable car) ride form Gulmarg to Khalinmarg (at your own expense). Return to Srinagar and overnight stay on a houseboat. Meals: Breakfast, & Dinner.

Day 5: Srinagar/Sonmarg/Srinagar (196 Kms)

|
Full day excursion to Sonmarg - Meadow of Gold (2,690 m). The scenic drive includes a number of photo stops along the way. Once in Sonmarg you may go horse riding to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own expense). Sonmarg is also the gateway of Ladakh. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay on a houseboat. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 6: Srinagar/Pahalgam/Srinagar (186 Kms)

Full day excursion to Pahalgam (2,440 m) stopping along the way for photographing against the backdrop of saffron fields, the ruins at Avantipur and the sulphur hot springs at Anantnag. Pahalgam, a popular Bollywood location, has a quiet, rustic back-to-nature feel that is addictive. Return in the evening to Srinagar. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner. Overnight stay on a houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 7: Srinagar/Katra (268 Kms)

Make an early morning start for Katra which is a 6/7 hours' drive away. Upon arrival check into your hotel, freshen up and leave for Vaishnodevi temple. Return to the hotel around midnight. Overnight stay in Katra. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 8: Katra/Jammu (50 Kms)
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
The morning is yours to relax or explore the town on your own. Later, you will be transferred to Jammu railway station / airport from where you proceed home or to your next destination.
