A typical example of our computerised accounting service is as follows:
 
·         Setting up of accounting procedures
We will visit your office to discuss and ascertain requirements. We will also review all relevant records including the existing accounting practices. Based on this review, We will design accounting procedures that is practicable and consistent with your business needs. If requested, We can also assist you in designing the necessary forms. The accounting procedures will be installed upon the approval of the management. We will assist in all aspects of the setting up of the procedures and will render your staff the necessary training. The following would have been achieved upon the completion of the above:
·         A monthly financial reporting format properly tailored to management's requirements. These include a detailed profit & loss statement, balance sheet, trial balance, payroll summary and other detailed listings such as debtors, creditors, inventories and cashflow analyses.
·         A proper filing and recording procedure set up within the company. This includes the filing system for payment vouchers, sales invoices, suppliers invoices, etc and simple manual registers based on the practical needs of the business. Your staff will be trained to maintain these filing and recording procedures on a day to day basis.
 
·         Periodic Update and Maintenance of Your Accounting Records
Once your accounting procedures are set up and maintained by your staff, We will visit your office on a periodic basis. The frequency will depend on your requirements and the volume of transactions but usually the visit is on monthly intervals. The monthly transactions as recorded and maintained by your staff will be input into computerised general ledger system which will produce the financial statements and all necessary journal adjustments such as provisions, accruals, prepayments and correction of errors, if any. The monthly financial statements usually can be ready by the second week of the following month.
 
·         Cost
A one-time fee will be charged for the assistance in the setting up of the accounting procedures depending on the complexities of the assignment. Fees for assistance in the updating of monthly accounting records and production of financial statements are based mainly on the types and volume of transactions.
